WREKIN FORUM
A new awareness of reality is emerging - a new opening of consciousness. In this time of major social change, the Wrekin Forum is part of a world-wide movement towards personal and planetary transformation.
We bring together, as Associates of the Forum, visionary individuals and organisations whose approach is based on holistic, spiritual and ecological principles, in order to act from a level of deeper connection.
The Wrekin Forum is a project within the vision of the Wrekin Trust
- The interconnectedness of life and the unity of consciousness
- The intrinsic value and potential of each individual
- A deep respect for the wellbeing of all interdependent life forms
- The recognition that diverse faith traditions and secular knowledge contribute to our collective wisdom
- Welcoming diverse ideas and practices into spiritual education, whilst discriminating what is true, good, wise and beautiful.
The associates work together and with others to initiate projects embodying these principles. Examples are:
The forum is built from over 100 Associates, both individuals and organisations. In addition to developing regional groups (see above), we support each other through activities such as:
- National and Regional 'Round table' gatherings, retreats and learning opportunities
- The newsletter 'News and Views'
When faced with a radical crisis, when the old
way of being in the world, of interacting with each other and with the
realm of nature doesn’t work any more, when survival is threatened by
seemingly insurmountable problems, an individual human – or a species -
will either die or become extinct or rise above the limitations of
their conditioning through an evolutionary leap. This is the state of
humanity now, and this is its challenge.
